La Taverne du Pêcheur is located at the northern end of the sea front at the entrance to the harbour. As the name suggests the cuisine is basically French though, as always, this is tempered by the abundant availability of local fish. The spaghetti and other pastas are highly recommended. This restaurant is one of the few to open on Sunday evenings. |

Staff are very friendly. the restaurant has three areas for eating; an intimate cosy room inside the restaurant, four tables outside and more tables upstairs, above the restaurant. The tuna steaks and spaghetti (always 'al dente') offered by the restaurant were exceptional and a wide range of drinks was available from the small bar. Service was friendly, but the cost of meals was slightly higher than average. Highly recommended |
